    Tonight is the first Carnival-celebration. Does anyone know excactly what "Tsiknopemti" means?

    ...it means "roast drippings" thursday, in other words, the drippings that come off meat when you roast it....on this day, only meat is eaten (charcoal roasted) in preparation for the 40 day fast that starts about 10 days from now on "Clean Monday"!
